What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your computer, tablet or phone. They let a site remember things between pages — that you have already started the quote form, for instance — and let us and our advertising providers understand how the site is used.
How to control them
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking them all will break parts of this site, including the quote form.
For the advertising ones specifically, two better options:
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or install an extension that sends it. We detect that signal automatically and stop the advertising cookies without you needing to do anything else.
- Use our Do Not Sell or Share page.
We do not show a cookie consent banner. US law does not require one, and a banner that everyone dismisses without reading is not consent in any meaningful sense — an opt-out you can actually find and use is more honest. Visitors covered by UK or EU law should see the international transfers section of our Privacy Policy.
